2018, Life is busy. Everyone’s got to do work, be at home, do hobby and what not. Certainly, by late 2000s, we will be merely finding time to breathe – Agghhh… Was it lame?
Nevertheless, call for the hour is to find time for ourselves, for no one but us- our mental peace and our body peace. What to do then? Leave work? I wish I could tell you that. But what I can do is let you know something about your body peace (Blog about mental peace coming soon as well, stay tuned). How to take care of your body when you really have no time in the day? Obviously, you can’t go for workout sessions or swimming classes or whatever. Then?
TABATA. Yes- If you have short or little time (even a 5 min would do) and you are in hurry and also want to do a workout, Tabata will fit into your routine. You can do this exercise easily at home. Bells ringing? What is TABATA?
Tabata is a HIIT(high-intensity interval workout) that you can do only in four-five minutes.
It was discovered by Dr. Imuzi- a Japanese fitness and sports researcher.
In a research he and his team they found that a high intensity level exercise like Tabata has more impact in less time than moderate level aerobic exercise for a longer time.
How to do tabata at Home?
Tabata fitness regime is set of many exercise- like you can add squats, pushup, burpees, lunge, kettlebell swing etc.
Routine- You can always make one by combining a set of exercise including Push up , burpees, squats, mountain climber etc with the intensity corresponding to your fitness level.
Though if you think, you are one with a moderate fitness level, the below routine would suit you well –
- Push-ups – 20
- Squats – 20
- Burpees – 15
- Mountain climber -25
With a gap of a maximum of 15 seconds between each exercise. Don’t you forget the audio to plug in. It helps.
Still competitive? More adrenalin? Do push-ups for 20 seconds, take rest for 10 and then repeat it eight times. Repeat the same for squat, burpees, mount climber.
Tabata is one of the best and most effective fitness regimes one can do in a short period of time. It improves endurance and flexibility, increase you strength and builds muscles, and helps you to lose weight.
